Learn about the different techniques to create photorealistic artworks of pets using coloured pencils as your medium. This course will allow you to gain insight on all the approaches from start to finish that is necessary to create realistic pet portraits. This includes how to choose a reference picture, sketching the outline, how to create a 3D look by working with highlights and shadows, and learning how to use your tools to create the desired fine details.

This 4 week course is geared towards intermediate learners with an artistic background and have experience using coloured pencils. By the end of this class, you’ll be able to have a completed pet portrait to frame in your home, along with techniques to implement into future pet portraits!
